Chapter History: Founded following the Indomitus Crusade, the unnumbered sons of Corax lineage were formed into the Blade Spectres Chapter at the head of Metros Castor. Residing on the flagship Ever Shade, the Blades are entirely Fleet-Based, patrolling their sector of Segmentum Obscurus from the predations of the arch-enemy and the xenos. 

Only numbering 750 Astartes from the inception of their christening, their lives aren't wasted on glory.


Chapter Beliefs: The brothers of the Blade Spectres are dour and melancholic in nature. They believe only through planning and development can an enemy be defeated. This has caused them to come to blows with their head strong cousins of the Onyx Stars. Possessing the same genetic deficiencies as their progenitor chapter. Though some battle brothers develop a condition known as "Ihe Ochichiri" or the darkness. A condition of longer serving veterans of the chapter becoming reclusive and explosive with violence, adhering only to their own manner of war and tactics. Typically these brothers are deployed on their own, undertaking specialized and typically suicidal missions. Whether this is to free themselves of the burden of the darkness or to serve the Chapter one last time, outsiders of the Chapter can only speculate.
